What version of Microsoft Office do I have? Why do I need this? |
Which version of CorrectEnglish do I install?
Once you have downloaded CESetup.exe and choose to run the installer, you will be prompted to confirm the version of Microsoft Office that is installed on your computer. The CorrectEnglish installer will try to automatically detect which version of Office is installed. To ensure proper integration with Microsoft Office, please make sure the correct version of Office is selected.
To double-check which version of Office you have installed:
- Click on the START menu on your Windows toolbar (usually at the bottom left of your screen).
- Click on ALL PROGRAMS.
- Browse the list of programs for Microsoft Office (or Microsoft Word). The Office program should be labeled "Microsoft Office 2003,", "Microsoft Office 2007," or another version of Microsoft Office.
If you do not have Microsoft Office installed, CorrectEnglish can still be run as a standalone word processor. CorrectEnglish contains all of the features you need to write, format, and publish documents to MS Word or PDF format.
