Question Title Fixing the CorrectEnglish AddIn in Word 2007
CorrectEnglish is integrated into Microsoft Word and Outlook for quick access to the robust proofing, editing, and formatting tools and feedback at a click.

If you do not see the CorrectEnglish 'ribbon' in your Word and Outlook 2007 toolbars, or it disappears, you may need to manually enable the CorrectEnglish AddIn.

Part 1 - Checking AddIn Status in CorrectEnglish

  1. Open CorrectEnglish.
  2. Click OPTIONS in the upper-right corner of the CorrectEnglish console.
  3. Check the Word AddIn status at the lower right corner of the OPTIONS panel.
  • If the Word AddIn status is "Word is loaded at startup and is loaded," close CorrectEnglish and proceed to Part 2.
  • If the Word AddIn status is "Word is loaded at startup but is not loaded," click the "Fix Word AddIn" link. If you receive any error messages at this time, please record them and contact ce-support@vantage.com immediately. Otherwise, close CorrectEnglish and proceed to Part 2.
Part 2 - Enabling COM AddIn Status in Word 2007

  5. At the bottom of the Add-Ins screen, select Manage: COM Add-Ins from the dropdown menu.
