If you are having trouble registering or using CorrectEnglish, check your firewalls. A firewall may be preventing CorrectEnglish™ from accessing our secure servers.

To add CorrectEnglish to your Windows Firewall Exceptions list:

• Open Control Panel.
• Click Security Center, then Windows Firewall, (in Category View) or just click Windows Firewall (in Classic View).
  
• Whether your firewall is On or Off, you should add CorrectEnglish to your Exceptions list.
  
• Click the "Allow a Program through Windows Firewall" link on the left-hand sidebar in your Windows Firewall window.
  
• On the General tab in Windows Firewall, make sure Exceptions are allowed. Make sure the checkbox next to "Block all incoming connections " is NOT checked .
• Click the Exceptions tab or link.
• Click Add Program.
• Select CorrectEnglish™ from the list. Make sure that the checkbox next to CorrectEnglish is checked.
  
• Click OK.
  

• Click Add a Program.
• Check for CorrectEnglish on the list.
• If it is on the list, click on CorrectEnglish to select it, then click OK.
• Now, on the Exceptions tab, make sure that the check box next to CorrectEnglish is checked, and click OK.

• Click Browse.
• Click My Computer.
• Click Local Disk C:.
• Click Program files.
• Click the Vantage Technologies folder.
• Click the CorrectEnglish folder.
• Click the CE CorrectEnglish icon.
• Click Open.
• Now, on the Programs tab, make sure CorrectEnglish is highlighted and click OK.
• On the Exceptions tab, make sure that the check box next to CorrectEnglish is checked, and click OK.
